The working principle of DR digital imaging technology and its application in the inspection of welded pipe industry are introduced. The detection effects of traditional X-ray industrial TV were compared and analyzed in terms of sensitivity detection, image resolution, residual magnetization effect and radiation dose. The results show that DR digital imaging technology has the advantages of high detection sensitivity and detection efficiency, low labor intensity and small radiation dose, which ensures the quality of welds and greatly reduces the accident rate of pipelines.
